Our Ministries

We have a variety of ministries to serve both you and your family, as well as to provide an opportunity where you can participate and serve your church and community.

Life Groups

Life Groups exist to "do life together." Life Groups meet in homes across the valley and are small communities of 8-10 people who have fun together, grow spiritually, support each other and develop lifelong friendships. Click here for more on Life Groups.

For Men

Men's Ministry exists to provide opportunities for men to grow in God's Word, friendships, worship and prayer. Click here for more on Men's Ministry.

For Women

Discovery Women’s Ministry exists to give women the tools they need to live out their “every day faith” by providing opportunities to grow in God’s Word, relationships, worship and prayer.  Click here for more on Women's Ministry.

Missions

Deploying Discovery people out into our local, national and global community is part of our DNA. Since this church began, we have been involved with local and global initiatives.

Outreach Events

In addition to the ministries listed above, our community here at Discovery participates in several outreach events throughout the year!

Adopt-a-Block

We have adopted a local neighborhood here in Simi Valley. Twice a year we ask the whole church to provide food or supplies to give to families in this neighborhood and we deliver it during our "Day of Service."  It is a chance for us to bless those in need and give back to the community without wanting anything in return.

Serving Simi

Twice a year we rally the people of Discovery Church to do local service projects that bless the local community of Simi Valley and beyond.  The type of projects include: cleaning local parks and recreation areas, doing outside projects for elderly, providing food and supplies to a local neighborhood in need, visiting a retirement home, partnering with the Dream Center in LA, cleaning projects and cosmetic work on a local high school, and helping at a local homeless shelter.
