Our community here at Discovery participates in several outreach events every year!

Adopt-a-Block

We have adopted a local neighborhood here in Simi Valley.  Twice a year we ask the whole church to provide food or supplies to give to families in this neighborhood and we deliver it during our "Day of Service."  It is a chance for us to bless those in need and give back to the community without wanting anything in return.

Serving Simi Valley

Twice a year we rally the people of Discovery Church to do local service projects that bless the local community of Simi Valley and beyond.  The type of projects include: cleaning local parks and recreation areas, doing outside projects for elderly, providing food and supplies to a local neighborhood in need, visiting a retirement home, partnering with the Dream Center in LA, cleaning projects and cosmetic work on a local high school and helping at a local homeless shelter.
