Vision and Canvas are part of an overall strategy to reach the next generation of students in our community. We believe that there are three things that every student should experience in Jr. and Sr. High School: Wonder, Discovery and Passion.

Wonder describes the student’s faith and relationship with God. We gather together to do what the first church did as described in Acts 2: We meet regularly, read and teach from the Bible, share meals, pray together, and share stories about what God is doing in our lives and community.

Discovery describes their relationship with themselves and how their daily puropose and choices connect with God’s truth. We believe it is vital that every student has a small group of peers that they are connected to, where they can share the ups and downs of life. It is a place where they can connect with a safe adult who can lead and give them wise counsel.

Passion speaks to their role and responsibility to love and influence those around them. This is where the ideas and stories from our worship environment meet real life experience, and the message is loved out in the student’s lives and community.

Vision meets Sunday mornings during the 11:45 a.m. service in the Youth Room on the second floor above Discoveryland. Vision has worship, games, videos, small group discussions and practical teaching students need. Click here to learn more about Vision.
