JHM is the dynamic Sunday-morning environment where middle school students (6th-8th grade) gather to explore their relationship with Christ and others. We meet in the Youth Room (upstairs) during the 9:30am or 11:00am worship services. There is nothing stale about this gathering! Your middle school student will swiftly discover why many students enthusiastically return each week to explore faith, friendships and accountability.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does JHM meet?
JHM meets in the Student Room which is located upstairs on the east side of the building.
When do you meet?
JHM meets during the 9:30 am and 11 am worship services. The point of our weekend services are to help students learn about, and grow in Jesus, surrounded by community and strong friendships. This happens through worship, teaching, games and small groups. Our goal is for students to walk out of service excited about God and finding a place of belonging.
How does my student get to know their peers and small group leader?
When your Student enters JHM, they will be welcomed by adult and student leaders. Right away, we will help you get connected into JHM life. We also break off into small groups during every service where students are able to meet their leader and other students of the same gender.
Can my student bring friends?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. JHM is designed to be lots of fun! We’re thrilled when your student is so excited about what they are doing that they want others to be involved, we are pretty excited too! Junior High School is a time when relationships get crazy and challenging and growing spiritually will help influence choices that matter! Encourage them regularly, and please be willing to give their friends a ride if they need it. Its will change the lives of not just your student, but the lives of their friends.
