1. YES, I will GO!
“I will pray and pursue "the ones" in my life.”
In Luke 15, Jesus tells a story about a shepherd who leaves behind his safe sheep to find the one sheep that’s missing. It’s his call for us to pursue specific people in our lives who are missing from the family of God. In 2024, we will be praying and pursuing "the ones" in our lives. So, pray fervently that God would help you identify “the ones” in your life He has called you to reach.
2. YES, I will GIVE!
“For 2024, I will expand my generosity to invest in the next generation.”
With these commitments, we hope to increase our annual budget to $1.5M (an increase of $500k above our current $1M budget). Ask God to show you what it looks like to give in a way that grows you closer to Him.
This year, we want to further invest in the Next Generation with things like:
Create an even more engaging environment in our Next Gen Spaces.
More invite-friendly events & parties for our kids’ and students’ “ones.”
Free or reduced prices for camps and conferences, especially for first-timers and “ones.”
Growth and education experiences for the Next Generation Team.
3. YES, I will SERVE!
“I will do my part as a member of the body of Christ at Discovery and actively serve.”
It takes a community to serve a community. We can’t just be a church where a few serve the many, but a place where everyone is actively involved.
